Refugee Activity

For reading we are reading a book called Refugee by Alan Gratz

In the story there are three different story's about different refugee's and their journey to freedom. The family that I'm doing (as you can see in my previous blog post for extra information) gave away their child Hanna and, now I've made a missing poster for Hanna.

Refugee Activity

In class we are reading a book called Refugee By Alan Gratz.  There are 3 different story's about three different refugees and their story's, about their journey to freedom.  Mine is about a boy called Muhammad who is taking was taking a journey on a raft, but it tipped over and many people had died they had been in the water for hours struggling with nothing but themselves to hold them up with a baby called Hanna. Another boat came along and the mother had the choice to hand over the baby to someone on the boat or not she handed the baby over in the end, but here is my opinion on this.

Refugee Activity

In class we are reading a book called Refugee By Alan Gratz.  There are 3 different story's about three different refugees and their story's, about their journey to freedom.  Mine is about a girl called Isabel who is taking a journey on a boat, which is sinking fast from the Bahamas to Miami. Throughout their story they frequently say and think about a quote which says 'Fight against the impossible and win.  This quote is from Fidel Castro the leader in this time period.  I have made a poster about this.

Look into his eyes

For writing we got a picture to look at and describe then we got four sentences  that were terrible sentences.  We had to then take those sentences and make them into good sentences.

Here are the bad sentences

It is nighttime
A boy walks on a road
He sees a figure

He feel happy

Here is my new Story.
