Cricket Training

Yesterday we had a man called Paddy from Canterbury sport, come to our school to teach us cricket skills and drills.  He came around many schools to promote cricket, for a great summer sport, and fun game.  He is coming back on Thursday and I'm very excited Here are some photos our lovely teacher Mrs Hahn took. 

Wringer Video

In class we have been reading a book called the Wringer we each had to pick a scene that we liked and then draw random names out to determine our groups.  In my group I had Olivia,  myself and Chloe-Rose the camera person.  Our scene was about giving a pigeon some cereal.  ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In class we had to make a slideshow about knights hope you enjoy.

Pet Day Photos

Awahono School holds an annual event called Pet Day, which is where the children get to bring along their pets and get them judged win prizes and even participate in a Pet Parade.  We do other things as well like workshops which is fun activity's for the children such as cup cake decorating and arts and crafts.
